Overton County Schools continues to follow all required procedures under federal Title IX regulations regarding recent allegations connected to the boys’ basketball program at Livingston Academy.
While the investigation and grievance process are ongoing, the district is legally prohibited from issuing disciplinary actions or final decisions until all due process requirements are completed. We recognize the community’s concern and appreciate your patience as we work carefully within these legal requirements. Our priority remains the safety, integrity, and well-being of all students.

Last night, the Overton County Board of Education proudly recognized our incredible school principals in honor of National Principals’ Month! Our principals lead with vision, compassion, and a deep commitment to student success. They inspire teachers, support families, and make a lasting impact in every school across our district.

Our 5–8 grade students brought the energy, determination, and team spirit to this year’s county-wide Track & Field Day! From long jumps to relay races, they showed what it means to lead with heart and hustle.
📷 Photos from the event are now posted on our district website! Visit https://www.oc-sd.com/page/5-8-track-and-field-2025-2026 to check out the highlights and celebrate our amazing student athletes.
